Steel Tape Armored Aluminum Alloy Cable

Steel Tape Armored Aluminum Alloy Cable

Description
Steel tape armored aluminum alloy cable, also known as steel tape armored cable, adopts 8000 series conductors introduced from American Gary Lion Wire Cable INC. This makes the alloy cable creep property resistant, high flexibility, high ductility and big strength of extension. Besides, the connection is safe and stable. In addition, this steel tape armored cable employs 90℃ cross-linked polyethylene. This cable features excellent physical properties, heat resistance and ageing resistance. Besides, such cross-linked polyethylene is capable of reducing insulation thickness. When it is burning, the steel tape armored cable will not give out corrosive air poisonous air, thus this steel tape armored cable conforms to fire safety requirement. And the sheath makes use of PVC radiation with good corrosion and wide range of applications.

Components
This steel tape armored cable is mainly composed of conductor, insulation, twining, armor and sheath. The conductor adopts 8000 series aluminum alloy conductors and ASTM B monofilament fractal compression process. The insulation takes the advantage of (90°C) environment friendly cross-linked polyethylene. And the twining makes use of environmental protection embossing non-woven reinforced belt. In addition, this steel tape armored cable is steel tape armoring. The sheath utilizes 80°C environmentally friendly PVC.

Application
This steel tape armored cable can be put indoors, outdoors, in a poling, trunking and cable trench, etc. Besides, this steel tape armored aluminum alloy cable can be laid and installed in dry and wet condition; and it can be buried directly in the earth or in the cement.

Performance
This steel tape armored cable has good physical performance. It is heat resisting and ageing resist. This can efficiently reduce the insulation thickness. When burning, the cable will not give off corrosive gas or poisonous gas. And its environment protective characteristic is in accordance with modern fire control safety requirements.

Maintenance
After installation, the steel tape armored cable needs no maintenance.
